Finance

The Finance Ministry plans and manages the allocation of Salem's resources for the congregation's ministries. We steward money, people, property and programs.

The Finance Ministry is responsible for the safety of Salem's resources. It ensures the money, the property and the gifts that members and others give to Salem are well used for the Lord's work. The ministry includes oversight of assets for the congregation, the school and the Endowment Fund.

The Church Council consults with and empowers the ministry to develop and maintain procedures for the investment and expenditure of those resources. Some resources are allocated to support current needs while others are invested for ongoing needs. All resources are dedicated to the Lord's work.
