Parent Education
Next Fall, Salem Lutheran Church and School is pleased to again offer a parent education class for parents of 4-7th graders. Building the Bridge from Innocence to Adolescence, a 10-week Class Beginning Tuesday, September 21 from 9:00AM - 12:00PM
The bridge between childhood and adolescence is a joyful, challenging and critical time for parents and their “tweens.” Not quite little kids anymore, but clearly not teens, “tweeners” (4th-7th graders) are full of contradictions that confound everyone around them. Join Joanna Haase Cline as she helps unravel some of the confusion and leads the class through topics pertinent to this age group. The class is designed to provide parents of tweens with tools to faithfully build and cross this bridge. Parents in the class will learn from each other, support one another, problem solve and have lots of fun.
Tuesdays, 9/21-11/30 9:00-11:00AM
Open to parents of children in 4th-7th grade
Cost is $35 for materials (payable on first day of class)
Registration materials will be available in early September
To view a course description and class outline, go to Joanna’s website at drjoannahaase.com and when prompted, enter code SLCPE1 or email Joanna at drjhaase@mac.com for more information.
